MC+ For Kids

Through the MO HealthNet for Kids program, children receive full, comprehensive coverage including primary, acute and preventative care, hospital care, dental and vision care as well as prescription coverage.
Eligibility:
Uninsured children who live in Missouri and are under the age of 19 are eligible for MC+ for kids. The gross family income to qualify is based on 185% of the federal poverty level. You must have been uninsured for a minimum of six months (some exceptions may apply).

Food Distribution Programs

The FSD Food Distribution Unit, through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Distribution Program, provides food to help improve the nutritional status of children and needy adults. These programs provide for distribution of USDA-donated foods to all \"non-school\" recipient agencies.

Jefferson City Low Income Home Energy Assistance

Jefferson City Low Income Home Energy Assistance

The Missouri Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) has two components: Energy Assistance/Regular Heating (EA) and Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP). EA is designed to provide financial assistance to help pay heating bills for Missourians during the months of October, November, December, January, February, and March. Eligibility requirements for EA are based on income, household size, available resources and responsibility for payment of home heating costs. Eligibility for EA may also qualify individuals for additional financial assistance through ECIP.

Households that meet income guidelines based on household size. Caseworkers in Contracted Agencies provide information concerning requirements. The agency providing services for your area can be located on the Contracted Agencies link and by selecting the residential county on the map.
