Health and Human Services provides multiple services to all age groups from prenatal to senior citizens. The departments focus is primarily on vulnerable and "at risk" clients, such as low-income families, children in need of protection, the aged, and the disabled.
The Department of Health and Humans Services mission is to assist eligible clients in securing core needs, such as shelter, food, and health care, while working toward self-sufficiency, independence, and safe family surroundings.
