Change in circumstance. My mother passed on August 23, 2021. I received a check (11-15-2021) in the amount of $2702.85 from METLife as beneficiary to her life insurance. I need your help in directing me what I should do with this check. I would like the money to be used by me for cremation and burial expense since I do not have any insurances to cover this expense. Do we need to file this request with PA Medicaid/Department of Human Services. Please provide a response back by e-mail. My telephone number has since changed from 717-691-9610 to 717-562-1241.
