My name is Emily lavelle I moved here 2 years ago here, Stuart patrick county va from Charleston South Carolina with my husband with our two kids 7 &11 and I’m on ssdi due to me be permanently disabled, I’m 35. Well 5 months ago my husband of 17 year walked out in us. I’m finding it very hard to live and provide with the disability income social services told me about safety net, I’ve tried everything and place to get financial assistance. Safety net is my last hope. Our this funding program I wake up worrying every day weather I’m gonna be able to pay for rent or car payments or gas I’m so stressed they put me on medication no miter should have to worry about it that much.
