Cal Fresh is a Federally Funded program that supplements a low-income familys food budget in order to ensure they are getting adequate nutrition.  The program name is Cal Fresh but beneficiaries no longer receive their benefits in stamps.  Instead they receive them electronically on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card.  For more information on EBT go to: http://www.ebtproject.ca.gov/If your EBT Card is lost or stolen please call:  1-877-328-9677. California Food Assistance Program (CFAP) is a state-funded program for legal permanent non-citizens legally present in the U.S. and determined ineligible for federal Cal Fresh benefits solely due to their immigration status.
